Thirty minutes on one portfolio company. Where the mandate is stuck, and what the first hundred days would cost.

Book a portfolio call

What to expect

  1. 01 A 20-minute call.
  2. 02 A written point of view within two business days.
  3. 03 No proposal unless there is a fit.

A fit if

  • You are an operating partner at a fund with fewer than about fifteen portfolio companies, or the CEO, COO, CFO or CHRO of a PE-backed company of $20M to $500M revenue.
  • AI is in the value-creation plan and nothing has reached the P&L yet.
  • One executive will own adoption inside the company.
  • You can give read-only access to how the work flows and one hour for intake.

Not a fit if

  • You want a strategy deck without a shipped system, or a system without an adoption owner.
  • You need a vendor to sell you a platform; PortLev has no product to sell inside the engagement.
  • The company is an owner-operated business of 5 to 200 people: the AI Org Audit is built for you.
  • You are an individual executive working on your own career: that is yurikruman.com.

Questions

What happens after I submit this form?
Yuri reads every enquiry personally, usually within one business day. If there is a fit, you will get a short reply proposing a 20-minute call. If there is not, you will hear that too, in writing, with a point of view on what to do instead.
Do you work with funds and portfolio companies outside the US?
Yes. Most engagements are with US lower-middle-market funds and their portfolio companies, and the work runs the same way for portfolio companies based elsewhere, on video.
I am not sure which offer fits. What should I put in the message?
Say what stage the AI mandate is at, nothing shipped, one pilot, or several pilots, and what triggered the enquiry: a board deck, an exit inside 24 months, or a stalled rollout. That is enough to route you to the Scorecard, the Diagnostic or a call.

Not ready for a call? Start with the scorecard.

Three minutes on one portfolio company, six failure modes, and the fix for the one costing you the most.
